'Port'ter Timaru 5.3%

Port’er’ Timaru

Porter

Made 50m from the Port of Timaru, this light dark beer is a local favourite, with hints of chocolate and fruit cake

Malt: American Ale, Aurora, Light Chocolate, Light Crystal, Chocolate Wheat, Big O, Super Nova, Toffee 

Hops: Centennial

Red Dwarf Red ale 5.0%

A full flavoured, 5 hop dark red IPA with a bitter end note.

Malt: American Ale, Supernova, Aurora, Red back, Light Chocolate

Hops: Centennial, Columbus, Chinook, Nelson Sauvin, Moutere 

Peter Pilsner 5.8%

An NZ take on a classic Central European beer. 

Malt: Pilsner, Wheat, Vienna

Hops: Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka

Third Time Hazy 5.1%

Our third attempt as new brewers at making a hazy that actually worked and is now a mainstay. A lighter flavoured hazy that is great for Summer drinking. 

Malt: American Ale, Big O, Wheat Malt, Rolled Oats

Hops: Nectaron, Wai-iti, Rakau

KIllswitch IPA 6.3%

A hoppy IPA made with 5 hops, 3 malts including toffee malt giving it a toasted caramel flavour. A Ship Hop mainstay

Malt:American Ale, Vienna, Supernova, Toffee

Hops: Amarillo, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Wai-iti, Eldorado, 

'After Me' XPA 6.0%

Living up to its name After Me is pale and light in colour, Named as such to encompass everyone that has asked for a beer to be named after them. 

Malt: German Pilsner, Pilsner

Hops: Kohatu, Loral

Pride & Joy Hazy 5.8%

A classic fruity hazy, developed originally for The Y as a fundraiser beer for Their Pride Youth division. It's popularity has seen it make its way into our regular rotation. 

Malts: Wheat Malt, American Ale, Big O, Rolled Oats

Hops: Nectaron, Citra, Moutere

URAMIT Lager 5.8%

Timaru’s own lager , a local legend. A one hop Lager full of flavour, a great Summer beer. 

Malt: Pilsner, German Pilsner

Hops: Loral

Shippity Hoppity White IPA 5.4%

A slip of the tongue and a beer is named, a very pale ale with a crisp start and a dry finish twist making it almost cider like in flavour and feel. 

Malt: Pilsner, Flaked (unsalted) Wheat

Hops: Kohatu, Rakau

Strathallan Stout 8.3%

dark rich smooth malty and chocolatey stout. Full of malty goodness. Great for those cold Winter days 

Malt: American Ale, Rolled Oats, Light Chocolate, Light Crystal, Medium Crystal, Roast Barley, Toffee, Gladiator

Hops: Chinook

Strathallan Stout %TBA

A dark rich smooth malty and chocolatey stout. Full of malty goodness. Great for those cold Winter days

Chill Bitch Chilli Lager

Add a description aboutOur original Lager with a hit of chilli. 

A ‘Kiwi Mild’ chilli flavour. 

Made with Kaitaia Fire sauce (subject to change)

What The Smoke - Dark Lager

A manuka smoked Lager, dark, smokey and full of flavour. Like drinking liquid bacon. 

Malt:Pilsner, Light Chocolate, Manuka Smoked, roast Barley

Hops: Motueka 

Francis Franks Old English Ale

Our take on an Old English Ale that didn't quite go to plan. A sweet variation on an old classic using locally picked wild hops from a not so secret location near Geraldine, off Coach road, down the river bed. Brewed especially for the South Canterbury Outstanding Food Festival (SCOFF) held in September. 

Malts: Ale (Maris Otter), Light a Crystal, Medium Crystal, Dark Crystal
